OUR STORY

SPOILER ALERT: WE'RE ALL MAD HERE

ESCAPE GAMES ARE OUR HOBBY, OUR PASSION AND OUR BUSINESS.

And we're really good at them ...or at least that's what we've been told.

We are sisters bound by our inclination towards brainteasers and the belief that our true love for escape rooms lies in the mystifying power of our unique collaboration.
We are a team of two. Truly, we have some weird dreamworld connection we can’t quite explain, but like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, we are two halves of one brain,

in the best possible way.  We particularly love horror themed rooms, deeply immersive sets and innovative concepts. If we are experiencing something we haven't before,

you have our attention.

With this undeniable passion, a balance of both analytical and creative skills and a relentless hunger for the industry...together, we are digging deeper and deeper into this captivating world; honing and sharpening the art of the escape.

"I think, therefore I am,
give me a challenge and set me free."

I am the kind of person who must keep learning, evolving and problem solving.  As a lover of puzzles, reading and obtaining new skills, I have found my way here, to the world of escape rooms through careers and hobbies unnumbered.  With a resume that spans everything from creative design and artistic development to winning awards in sales, I have found a home in marketing, fundraising and optimizing business flow and customer experiences but it wasn't until I discovered escape rooms that I found my true calling.

As luck has it, my escape room team mate, business partner and sister, Stefanie, shares a skill set and a love of immersion, puzzle solving and overcoming challenges that allowed us to combine our talents into our company; And Curiouser.   This collaboration is a culmination of our shared skills and love for an industry that is not only fascinating but also cutting edge in entertainment.  Escape rooms are exploding in popularity and we want to help elevate the industry to allow more people to experience the best that this world has to offer.  Make no mistake, we are very good at escape rooms, but if you think that's good, just wait to see what we can do here.

"In a world overflowing with the mundane, my journey into the realm of escape rooms has been anything but ordinary."

Embracing an inherited entrepreneurial spirit,  I've had the great pleasure of founding the creative agency, "Jupiter's Muse" - a world of my own, where imagineering is my daily grind, and transforming everyday concepts into extraordinary sur-realities, my key deliverable.  I'm an award-winning graphic artist, children's book illustrator and Art Director, with my first dip in the designer pool over 18 years ago.  But my art doesn't stop at the edge of a page. I sometimes find myself envisioning characters in the bubbles on the shower wall, or pondering life's profound mysteries, like...is Falkor a dog? Or a dragon? Or a dragon-dog?...But I'm not just a dreamer or a creator; I'm a riddler. A problem solver.

My natural enemy?  The mediocre
My natural instinct? To think outside the box
My natural habitat? The rabbit hole.

With extensive training in customer experience, customer retention and process optimization, the addition of this business expertise, resulted in an enriching synergy that keeps my head ever so slightly below the cloud level, when absolutely necessary. Scientific fact: Combine 1 part fierce imagination with 1 part unquenchable thirst for problem solving and you've got yourself an unrelenting addiction to escape rooms. From our very first ER, every newly opened door has been a source of exhilaration. With my sister by my side, our shared passion ignited a spark, prompting us to forge AndCuriouser.ca, an ideas-based business that blends the best of our talents.  Through this platform, we are making our mark on the industry...leaving behind a breadcrumb trail that leads to....

...Well telling you that wouldn't be any fun now, would it?
